Short description: The course includes issues of agricultural productive space and its relationship with the rural area. The important issues include: the land use structure, the cadastral parcel andagricultural plot, the organization of agricultural farms, the agricultural transport, the demand foofrural management works
Full description: The structure of land use and governance in Poland. The types of farmland in the land and property register (the cadastre), rules for including farmlands in specific groups. The ground layout of the village and the agricultural farms. The Indicators for assessing the layout of grounds. The division of farmlands from the ecological perspective. Agricultural production space as an area of agricultural function, its relations with other functions in rural areas. The farm vs. agricultural real estate. Farmland economy and the restructuring of rural space (distributing land between business entities, improving farmland configurations, protecting the environment). Methods for evaluating village and farm configuration forms. Rural area development works as part of agricultural production space management.

Learning outcomes: Possesses knowledge regarding agricultural development space in the development of rural areas. Possesses basic knowledge regarding the scheduling of rural area development works; knows the classification of farmlands. Can characterise the state of agricultural development space and evaluate the need to implement changes using rural area development works. Can assess the field layout of the village, the agricultural farm, road system. Is aware of their responsibility for the rational management of farmlands, understands the importance of rural area development for society./ The interpretation of results of calculations and analysis
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: Grade obtained at lectures - written exam (50%) + grade obtained at classes - test, projects, activity (50%).
